Summit Panghen Metok Hotel - Lachen

I loved the spacious and well-maintained rooms with clean linen and lovely bathrooms with hot water geysers. The hotel staff was excellent, and the restaurant served delicious food at budget-friendly prices. the scenic beauty around the hotel was amazing.

The lack of heating in the room made for a very uncomfortable stay in the cold weather. the limited phone service and lack of Wi-Fi made communication difficult.

The food at Summit Panghen Metok was really good. The chefs were really nice too accommodate my dietary needs and even packed a special breakfast for us to help with the altitude as we embarked on a high-altitude journey. The service provided by Diwakar Panghen and his team was excellent.

There were some drawbacks. The lack of heaters in the room made the cold temperatures quite uncomfortable, especially at night.

This low, budget hotel is a great option for travellers exploring a colder region. the staff is friendly and helpful, especially the manager who goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. the hotel's prime location provides beautiful views of the snow, covered mountains. the rooms and bathrooms are clean and well, maintained, and guests can enjoy delicious local cuisine at the on, site restaurant.
